Lucky Seven

Saturday's long run was seven miles. I finished feeling like I could have done eight. Might have considered it, too, were it not for the leaky left shoe (I misjudged a puddle).

This weekend is eight. I'm told that if you can do eight miles, you can do ten (I'm scratching my head over this, but I have it from a pretty good source).

Worth Knowing: The park district kicks ass when it comes to snow removal. The lakefront path was *pristine* just hours after our big snow. Better, in fact, that my side street.... Go Park District!
