If you ever happen to be in a position to take Sadie to the grocery store, you'll want to add an extra 15 minutes to the time you think it will take. This is because Sadie--since she was itty bitty--attracts people like a magnet. There is something about this kid that makes people want to stop and say hi. Last week, I happened to take Sadie to the store by myself. Since it was just her and me, I let her walk (bad precedent, I know--I'm in trouble next time we go to the store). And I noticed: Sadie just makes people smile. She doesn't have to DO anything. She just makes people happy. And really, with a face like this, is it any surprise?
