Speaking of cicadas, we spent father's day out at the in-laws where the cicadas are in FULL force. YUCK! They are literally everywhere. However, the girls didn't mind and spent some time in the sprinkler.
I thought it would be fitting to include a picture of Dean with the girls in honor of Father's Day, but I forgot to take one. Mostly because he was off mountain biking for most of the afternoon! Nothing says Happy Father's Day like an afternoon off!
**The Potty Report**
So, Ella is still not pooping on the pot full-time. In fact, she went in a pull-up both Saturday and Sunday. But she IS doing it sometimes. And she is TELLING everyone that she CAN do it. She is so proud. We are not pushing it at all and are just letting her go at her own pace. I think her confidence is building. In other news, she is asking not to wear a pull-up at naptime and is waking up DRY. She has also been waking dry most mornings. AND, a couple of evenings, she has asked to get out of bed to use the potty. In the past, she'd just pee in her pull-up and then yell for us to change her. I think we are making great strides toward being fully PT!!
It's almost breaking my heart to see how big Ella is getting all the sudden. She can swing on the big swings now and is even learning to pump. She can dress herself. She can use the potty by herself. She's all grown up!
